Attempted dog thefts being reported to us

You may have noticed that a number dog thefts and attempted dog thefts are being reported

March 12th, 2021

Should you be approached by someone making enquiries into your dog, you should always ask to see a persons’ name and ID badge, if they are legitimate they will have no issues in providing you with this information. 

If you still have concerns, you can make contact with the organisation, for example local authority or charity to confirm who they are.

Any suspicious or criminal activity report must be reported to 101.
